Adegbite Falade leads Aradel Holdings Plc as MD/CEO. Aradel is a fully integrated energy group with interests across multiple oil and gas assets, spanning upstream, midstream, and downstream activities. The company emphasises a long-term, responsible approach to energy provision and the global shift toward cleaner power. By strengthening gas delivery and exploring technologies that draw on Nigeria’s and Africa’s diverse energy resources, Aradel aims to offer affordable, sustainable options that support net-zero goals and broaden energy access.
Adegbite earned a First-Class BSc in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from the University of Ibadan and an MBA from Warwick Business School, UK. Over the last 15 years, he has held senior leadership roles in the oil & gas, power, and services sectors, overseeing engineering, operations, project delivery, commercial management, strategy, and enterprise development.
For 2025, Aradel reported a 192.3% rise in net profit, reaching ₦393.2 billion after acquiring a major stake in ND Western, a drilling firm. The growth was recently documented in the company’s audited report.
Falade is passionate about clean energy. He believes in producing more energy, making it cleaner, delivering it reliably, and using it as a cornerstone for broad-based economic growth. “We must produce more energy, make it cleaner, deliver it more reliably, and ensure it becomes the foundation for broad-based economic growth.” He stated.
Before Aradel, he led Oilserv Group of Companies in Port Harcourt as Managing Director and Group Chief Operating Officer. Earlier, he held roles including General Manager for Portfolio Development, Chief Operating Officer at Oando Energy Resources, and Executive Director of Oando Gas & Power.
He was also the Petroleum Economics Discipline & Portfolio Lead for Shell EP, Africa. He joined Aradel’s Board as MD/CEO in 2021 and was appointed IPPG Chairman on the 1st of November 2025.
