Felix Nkundimana is the Chief Executive Officer of Jali Finance Ltd, a Rwandan non-deposit taking financial institution whose mission is to promote impactful consumption notably environmental products, revenue generating assets and made in Africa, through a credit approach. Under his leadership, Jali Finance has scaled rapidly, helping thousands of low-income earners, particularly motorcycle taxi operators, access income-generating assets through affordable, tech-enabled financing.
Felix also serves as the Chairperson of the Association of Credit and Savings Professionals (ACSP), where he plays a key role in strengthening industry standards, promoting responsible lending, and advancing financial literacy across Rwanda’s credit sector.
He is the visionary behind JaliKoi, a super app that integrates financial services, green mobility, and retail consumption into one accessible platform. Through JaliKoi, Felix is enabling users to access transport, household goods, airtime, and other essential services through a credit-powered, digital-first experience. The platform reflects his commitment to inclusive innovation, especially for low-income users, and his belief that technology can drive both dignity and opportunity at scale.
As a strong advocate for green mobility, he is steering Jali Finance towards a future where electric vehicles are central to Rwanda’s transportation infrastructure. This work supports national sustainability goals while making clean energy solutions financially accessible to everyday Rwandans.
Felix has over a decade of experience in finance, business management, and investment strategy. He is an MBA graduate and CIMA-certified professional. As a strategic financial leader, he has a strong track record of managing complex financial challenges.
Achievements as CEO:
• Raised $3.8M in funding to expand access to income-generating assets and green mobility.
• Created 5,500+ jobs and positively impacted over 8,000 lives through inclusive asset financing.
• Transitioned Jali Finance into a fintech through the acquisition and integration of Koi Pay.
• Launched JaliKoi, a super app enabling credit, e-mobility leasing, and digital financial services.
• Developed a custom loan management system adapted to the needs of underserved clients.
• Positioned Jali Finance as a leader in digital microfinance and sustainable finance in East Africa.
