Kemi Ajumobi is the Founder/Group CEO of Inspiring Woman Africa (IWA) Group, Publisher and Editor-In-Chief of IWA Magazine, and Convener of the IWA Conference, now in its 14th year. This signature event brings together distinguished women to learn, network, and share experiences that inspire others.

With 18 years (and counting) in the media industry, Kemi is a multi-award-winning journalist, previously serving as founding editor of a top notch women’s magazine at a leading financial daily in West Africa. She is deeply passionate about health awareness, youth empowerment, women’s development, advocacy, and social advancement.

Her impact spans across platforms — from radio programmes (Inspiring Woman with Kemi on 92.3 Inspiration FM and 99.3 Nigeria Info) to Instagram talk shows (Inspiring Woman Series With Kemi Ajumobi) , she has also moderated sessions at high-profile events, including the African Diaspora Heritage Month Celebration at the U.S. Congress, Washington D.C.

In 2013, she produced and directed her first documentary on people living with HIV/AIDS, titled ‘Why HIV/AIDS Cannot Be Ignored.’ She was also featured in DRY, a film by award-winning actress and producer Stephanie Linus, which tackled issues of underage marriage and Vesico Vaginal Fistula (VVF).

Kemi Ajumobi is the host of #THEEXCLUSIVEWITHKEMI, a show where she speaks with leading men and women who share deeply personal and exclusive stories.

Her creativity and leadership extend beyond journalism. She is a counselor, music minister, public speaker, and anchor. Her single “It Is You” is available on major digital platforms in both audio and video formats.
